ID003 is a multi-purpose drone that can perform a wide range of tasks depending on the set of characteristics and installed additional equipment:

  • transportation of cargo weighing up to 20 kg;
  • carrying out inspection flights;
  • monitoring of extensive objects;
  • day and night patrolling;
  • visual aerial photography;
  • thermal aerial photography;
  • mapping.

Advantages:

ID003 is undemanding for takeoff and landing conditions: no runway, launch and takeoff equipment required.

Compact and easy to transport. The wings are detachable, the unit and additional equipment are quickly stowed in a special transport case, which can be transported on a car trailer. Assembly of the unit for use is carried out within 10 minutes by two people.

ID003 does not require a runway, catapult or other additional equipment for takeoff and landing. A 6x6 meter pad is sufficient for takeoff. Takeoff and landing are absolutely safe.

With 3 batteries without an additional load, was experimentally achieved a maximum flight range of 500 km. The real range with a payload only in the form of a camera, which weighs 1.5-2 kg, over 350 km. With the payload of 20 kg the flight range is over 250 km. with the battery charge level sufficient for safe landing and preservation of the LiPo batteries resource.

Significant design advantages have been proven in practice, namely no energy losses for longitudinal balancing, high aerodynamic quality, approximately 1.6 times increased load-bearing capacity and surface specific payload. The ID003 is unable to enter all types of spin due to its forward stabiliser position. Highly remote horizontal tail surfaces with multiple electric motors located on them improve lateral balancing, and increase resistance to engine failures.

Navigation - GNSS (satellite) / INS (inertial with 3 inertial measurement units). The inertial system allows the UAV in the event of satellite signal loss to maintain a set course for 5 minutes with minimum deviation until communication with the satellites is re-established.

For safe landing, ID003 is equipped with radar with an effective altitude of 50 metres in landing configuration.


The information transmission system is duplicated multiple times to enhance flight safety. Integrated control and video data transceiver - main control channel - 1.4-1.5 Ghz/ 2.4 Ghz - radio transmitting range 150 km above 3 km./ 70 km. above 1.5 km. The data transmitted on board the UAV is confidential. The data is protected by an encryption system as well as multichannel wideband transmission with the mode of pseudo-random adjustment of the operating frequency. Auxiliary communication channels - 4G communication module (in the coverage area), satellite communication (in the coverage area), Wi-Fi module, remote control - radio transmission range of 1.5 km.

A proprietary ground control station (GCS) has been developed to receive and transmit data. It is a portable mobile unit consisting of a moisture-proof box with an industrial high-performance computer and long-range antennas combined with a satellite communication module mounted on a tripod.
Connection is via Ethernet cable. The station can operate for over 24 hours without recharging.

ID003 can be equipped with 2 payloads - remote sensing (RS) equipment and a cargo box. In the case of remote sensing payloads, an additional battery pack can be installed on board, increasing the flight range by 30-40%.

The UAV carries an x30 optical zoom camera and a thermal camera as a payload for remote sensing. The camera specifications can vary depending on the task at hand. The gyrostabilized electromagnetic platform provides the best quality of photo and video data. The system allows you to capture and follow a moving object.

The ID003 is fitted with a 100x25x25cm dump cargo compartment as a cargo payload, allowing easy loading and unloading/dumping of items to be carried. The cargo area can be optionally upgraded to suit the needs of the customer. For example, Peltier elements can be installed in the cargo area for transporting biomaterials and maintaining a certain temperature.
